FAQ

Research and decision questions

Common answers about mixed sources, citations, and review boundaries.

Can Orkas compare interviews, CSV data, competitor material, and web sources?

Yes. Orkas brings approved inputs into one research workflow, records where each claim came from, and keeps facts, assumptions, contradictions, and missing evidence separate before drafting a recommendation.

Where are my source files stored, and what is sent during model calls?

By default the knowledge base, source files, and chat history stay on your machine. For model calls, use managed official models through Orkas or connect your own provider for direct calls. Optional sync stores the data you choose to sync on Orkas servers, and the free edition sends limited usage metadata, not your content.

What does the market-entry package include?

The example workflow produces an editable research note, an evidence ledger, a decision brief, and a review PDF. Unverified demand or market-size claims remain labelled for human review.
