One sale banner, four stores.
Four chances to paste the wrong brand name.
The dashboards were never the problem. You can keep four tabs open. The problem is that the same seasonal copy, the same product description, the same returns page and the same restock email get rewritten per store, and by the third one you are pasting the second and hoping you caught every name. Meanwhile the outdoor brand and the gift store should not sound alike, so you cannot simply duplicate either.
The work that multiplies with every storefront
Same facts, different voice
The measurements, the material and the warranty do not change between your two brands, but the framing does. Keep one source record per SKU plus a short voice note per store, and the versions come out consistent on the facts and different where they should be, which is the opposite of what copy-paste produces.
Four exports, four column layouts, one view
Orkas connects one Shopify store at a time. To compare several Shopify stores, export their data as CSV files and analyze them together in a workspace. Store-specific drafts remain separate, and you publish them yourself.
One decision, four edits, reviewed before it lands
A sale, a shipping cut-off, a policy update: decided once, then edited into four stores with different theme structures underneath. Drafts come back per store, and publishing stays something you do, which is the right arrangement when a mistake goes live on four domains simultaneously.
What this does not fix about multiple stores
The most-searched multi-store question has a platform answer rather than a software one, and it is worth saying so plainly.
Store switching is already built into Shopify
Shopify already lets you switch between stores associated with the same email address. You do not need Shopify Plus or a separate SSO app just to switch stores. Orkas helps with the work inside your stores; it does not change their plans or billing.
The connector is native, not an MCP server
Shopify Admin here talks to the platform API directly, so you do not host an MCP server for it. You do have to register your own Shopify application and grant it the Admin API scopes you want, which is a real setup step rather than a checkbox, and worth knowing before you plan an afternoon around it.
A SKILL.md file is not what you are paying for
Anthropic made skills and connectors free for all Claude users, so the format is not a differentiator and nobody should pretend otherwise. The reason to run them here is parallel agents, a project folder that persists between sessions, and having Amazon, eBay and Etsy in the same window as Shopify.
Running more than one storefront
Can it connect to several Shopify stores at once?
Orkas connects one Shopify store at a time. To compare several Shopify stores, export their data as CSV files and analyze them together in a workspace. Store-specific drafts remain separate, and you publish them yourself.
Do I need Claude Code or a terminal?
No. It is a desktop app with a conversation in it and the skills run from there. If you do already use Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, OpenCode or Hermes, any of them can be driven from inside the same conversation, so your setup keeps working rather than being replaced.
What about stores that are not Shopify?
WooCommerce, Amazon Seller Central, eBay, Etsy, Walmart Marketplace, Mercado Libre, Shopee, TikTok Shop and Magento are all there, alongside Taobao and Tmall, JD, Pinduoduo, Douyin, Kuaishou, 1688, Xiaohongshu, Youzan and Weimob for China, plus Printify, ShipEngine, Shippo, BaseLinker, Gorgias, Klaviyo and PayPal around the edges. Each needs its own application registration.
Is my store data uploaded anywhere?
Files stay in your folder and are read from disk, and connector credentials are encrypted on your own machine. What leaves is whatever the agent quotes to the model provider you picked, your own account if you connected one and ours if you are on a plan. The source is public under MIT if you want to verify that rather than believe it.
Write it once. Let each store have its own version.
Free, macOS and Windows. Connect a store when you are ready, not before.
